Donations
Trees for Mt. Lemmon, a non-profit corporation, uses your donations in a variety of ways. First, our main goal is to propagate native plants and distribute them to residents each year. Native seeds and cuttings are collected on Mt. Lemmon, taken to Northern Arizona University for propagation where they are grown under the direction of Brad Blake, and then delivered back to the mountain during the monsoon seasons and distributed for planting. This costly endeavor is appreciated by everyone who participates and has proven very successful for the past three years.Second, education and educational materials about planting, erosion control, invasive species eradication and others are offered to residents and property owners, and your donations enable Trees for Mt. Lemmon to provide these services.
Finally, fundraisers such as the Aspen Ball and other social activities are provided for the community which has allowed for generous donations to the Mt. Lemmon Fire District, Mt. Lemmon Water District and to the Mt. Lemmon Community Center.
